    We suggest that you use the Back|Forward control on your Internet browser to "toggle" back and forth between these 2 sections of the same music. Note particularly the staccato striking with the "spaces" between the notes, producing exactly the brittle, mechanical sound which BALLET MECANIQUE requires in performance. ARTCRAFT Rolls are perforated down to a tolerance of a 128th-note via 'overlap' cutting, so the striking is graduated in the initial stages of arranging. ("Instant replay" allows the arranger to hear the work in progress and elongate the perforations at will, of course.)

    As in the prior Interpretive Arrangement photographs, "TIME SPACE" numbers are stamped on the roll to aid the Pianolist in his/her understand of the music.
